who?

Grey Burbridge

Senior report and design professional with 30+ years’ experience delivering production-ready publications for regulated and brand-sensitive organisations. Specialising in annual reports, financial statements, impact reporting, and complex document production, with deep expertise in print accuracy, artwork management, colour control, and technical sign-off across litho, digital, and large-format print.

Trusted by communications, finance, and governance teams to bring clarity and structure to high-stakes documents — reducing risk, ensuring compliance, and delivering work that performs correctly in live print and digital environments.

My background spans studio management, reprographics, print production, and creative consultancy — combining strong design capability with rigorous technical oversight. After nine years in industry roles, I moved into freelance consultancy, building long-term relationships across finance, retail, charitable organisations, and regulated sectors.

In 2004, I established a London studio supporting major clients including Lidl GmbH, Marks & Spencer, Kinnerton Confectionery, and Lloyds Banking Group. By 2008, the business expanded into a full-service creative consultancy covering reprographics, print management, annual reports and accounts, and web design.

As founder of EC1London, an independent creative services company based in EC1, I work with organisations that require structured, accurate, and carefully managed communications — particularly where financial reporting, stakeholder transparency, and brand consistency are critical.

why me?

In summary, I deliver professional creative artwork, accurate Reports and Accounts, digital and traditional mock-ups, interactive PDFs and GIFs, as well as image adaptation and retouching — using industry-standard tools like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat. I also embrace AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency, explore creative possibilities, and streamline workflows. I have an established system for producing files, with consistent layering, labeling, and color coding, making my work easy to navigate and manage. That said, I’m always happy to adapt to a client’s preferred workflow.

Adaptability is key in my role. I’m always open to learning new software, and as a Creative Artworker, I’ve expanded my skills to include Office 365 applications where clients require them. Creating PowerPoint and Word templates is not unusual, although the limitations of these programs can make design more challenging — I only take this on when specifically requested.

I also provide training videos for PowerPoint templates, ensuring staff can use them effectively and confidently.

I genuinely love my career and take pride in delivering creative, professional work that meets each client’s needs — now enhanced with the smart use of AI tools to make processes smoother and ideas more dynamic.
